2009 will be a watershed year for Agents!

The Lunar Niu Year has just passed! Let's get prepared for 2009!

There are many, many soothsayers for 2009 & 2010. In fact, we don't need anymore of that! Everybody knows world economy & the financial turmoil will not go away so easily. So, why bother about the gloom? Think of the boom!

Ask everybody who bought stocks & properties after the 1997 & 2001 crisis. Find out if anyone of them loses money? You probably would get a 90% of investors who make profit compared to 10% of those who bought during boom time in 1995, 2000 & 2007!

Listen to the age old, proven psychology of buying & selling at the right time, quoted by Warren Buffet:
"Be Fearful when everyone is Greedy. And be Greedy when everyone is Fearful!"

Look around you, is everyone FEARFUL? No doubt. Even some of my most powerful investors are shrinking back.
Can you find good value when things are so rosy & bouyant? Hardly. But in times of Doom, the best & greatest value start appearing. Anyone with Solomon's wisdom will know how to sniff out one & grab it before it becomes too obvious.

Then again, if you believe in God, replaced Fear & Greed with Faith & Grace. In such times, only those who are favored by God will remain prosperous & well. When Egypt is experiencing famine, Joseph was instructed by God to store up years before the famine strike. If you believe, look up to God & ask Him for blessing.

Now, let's look at agents' fate in 2009. I strongly believe 2009 will register higher number of transactions compared to 2008. In uncertain times, sellers & landlords will hold, hoping that things will turn around. When the doom times are confirmed, sellers & landlords must take a step forward to decide.

The number of buyers/tenants will be drawn out to pick up opportunities. Those who find them early ctaches the fattest, juiciest worms! Those who come in later(normally the masses), will find less value as sellers/landlords begin tightening up.

This will hit an equlibrium and by the end of 2009, majority of the best value will be gone.

So, take heed. Those who have ears, let them hear. Agents, this is a harvesting year. Don't miss it!
