The Stock is down again?
Posted Date: 15 Mar 2007US stocks are down, heavily. Worries over their housing is - worrying. Singapore Property & Banking stocks take a heavy beating today.
Will the poor performance of the stock market drag the sentiments of our property market?
Previously, many would have ignore such drops as a hiccup. But continuous hiccups as such are certainly not healthy.
Before the HDB market hits the road, the market hits a hump again. This may hold back the nervous, put the contemplators on the fence and bring cautious mood to the entire market.
Let's monitor the US markets carefully and see if these hiccups will result in some drastic corrections. If trading resumes its normal path for the next 3 days, things may return to normal. If not, let's hope it's not a double whammy and hold back everybody's buying decisions.
